Andy, Alex and Jack are all originally from Hanover, MA. Alex and Andy are brothers and both currently go to UMass Amherst. Jack goes to Holy Cross in Worcester. Seth went to UMass with Alex and Andy and graduated. We’re all good pals!
Where is Assinippi, MA?
We don’t know exactly why Woot won’t ship their good deals to Assinippi, MA, because it’s a fine place. In fact, it’s located in our hometown and it happens to be part of one of Alex’s frequent running routes.
Our Story:
We got this idea back in January of 2008, when we built a Flash game for Conan O’Brien’s show Late Night with Conan O’Brien. After that went on the air… we built a pretty cool game that let you put a face into a boxing match. Nothing came of it… Conan and Colbert ended up fighting each other on TV… so maybe we inspired them… the truth is unknown. Alex and Andrew briefly toyed with the idea of making a boxing game where you could put your friends’ faces into it. The idea was pushed aside, until a few months later when we were all hanging out by a fire, and Jack pushed us to continue on the face-in-the-game quest, and thus YourFaceInTheGame.com was born.
